The Broadbent Institute launches its Quebec office
MONTREAL - The Broadbent Institute, an independent, non-partisan organization championing progressive change, is officially launching its Quebec office this Thursday at the Café of the Monument-National.
In the lead up to the Paris climate conference the Broadbent Institute believes that progressives must push our governments to find solutions to this crisis. To give us a picture of the impact that climate change is having in one the most affected countries, we are pleased to host Karl Offmann, former president of the Republic of Mauritius, for an onstage conversation with Ryoa Chung, philosophy professor at the University of Montreal.
When: Thursday, June 18, 6pm - 8pm
Where: The Café at the Monument-National
1182 St Laurent Blvd, Montréal
