Joy Umoafia is an experienced Administrative Coordinator, who is hands-on and quality focused. Driven by building strong relationships, she takes pride in providing the best support possible. As an Administrative Coordinator, she supports the Broadbent Institute Staff and Board members with day-to-day needs, serving as a point of contact with individuals, external institutions, and agencies, and handling operational inquiries and requests quickly and efficiently.

Joy has over ten years as an office manager working in the dentistry field and is accustomed to a professional, fast-paced setting where she collaborated and supported a diverse group of people. Joy has been recognized by The Rotary Club with the Rotary Youth Leadership Award. She holds a Business Administration Diploma from Sheridan College and currently resides in Ottawa with her Jack-Russell terrier, Akela.
