Arlene Wortsman is the Director of Operations. She is responsible for HR, finance, and other aspects of the internal operations of the Broadbent Institute. She is based in the Ottawa office. She has over 30 years providing services in public policy analysis, strategic planning, facilitation, developing and managing complex research and consultation projects at the national, sectoral and workplace level. She has worked in the public, private and not for profit sectors. Previously she served as the Acting Executive Director of the Canadian Indigenous Nurses Association and prior to that was the Executive Director of the Canadian Federation of Nurses Unions. She holds an Honours BA from the University of Toronto and a MBA from the University of Ottawa.
