ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT

The Information Coordinator manages digital communications and fundraising efforts; works across departments to maintain and improve the internal and external fidelity of our database through our website and social media portal, and ensures digital platforms and assets are integrated and functioning to produce best outcomes.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Digital Communications/Fundraising

  • Responsible for managing; digital fundraising and online donation processes
  • Updates web pages including blog, donation, and take action pages
  • Uploads, edits, formats and sends emails, in coordination with the Communications Coordinator
  • Processes and uploads donations into Nationbuilder
  • Finds and implements new technologies and techniques to improve digital fundraising 
  • Uploads, schedules, and sends emails
  • Makes complementary graphics for digital use
  • Other duties as necessary

 

Database Management

  • Maintains the accuracy and content of the database
  • Ensures growth of contacts database and social media platforms
  • Exports lists and data sets with necessary criteria to support fundraising and outreach projects
  • Coordinates with all departments on the maintenance and upkeep of constituent details
  • Ensures all new data is correctly entered and recorded
  • Tracks, evaluates and grows acquisition, fundraising, and engagement metrics
  • Develops strategies for new online engagement for contact acquisition growth
  • Other duties as necessary 

 

Reporting and Support

  • Accountable for the analysis and evaluation of overall digital performance
  • Provides Weekly and Monthly reporting of digital revenue, acquisition, and engagement results 
  • Ensures corrective action is taken in a timely manner when problems are discovered
  • Supports the technological needs of the organization
  • Supports special events and conferences
  • Supports the Administrative Assistant with financial reporting
  • Other duties as necessary

 

This is a full-time position within the collective bargaining unit and may be located in Toronto or Ottawa.
