Opreet Kang is a well-regarded community leader with over 20 years of community and political advocacy work and volunteerism.
Opreet Kang is passionate about social change that will better engage under-represented citizens in the political process. A well-regarded community leader with over 20 years of community and political advocacy work and volunteerism, Opreet is committed to projects and movements that connect communities, environmental sustainability, and disrupt the status quo. In the last 10 years, she has been involved in numerous political campaigns at the local, provincial, federal levels.
Previous board positions have included The McCreary Centre Society, VIBC, Vision Vancouver, and currently is on the Fraser Health Authority. Opreet is the Director, Industry Innovation at the Forestry Innovation Investment, overseeing programming and investments in the advanced wood building systems.
