Progress Summit 2022 Awards
Celebrate progressive accomplishments with us at our 2022 Progress Awards Ceremony. Each year we honour outstanding people for their work this past year in making our world better for everyone. This annual award ceremony has become a major highlight of the PROGRESS SUMMIT and a “can’t miss” event for all attendees.
Jack Layton Progress Prize: awarded annually to a Canadian individual or organization who has run a particularly noteworthy political or issue campaign reflecting the ideals exemplified by Layton, including justice, sustainability and democracy.
Ellen Meiksins Wood Prize & Lecture: given annually to an academic, labour activist or writer who has made an outstanding contribution in political theory, social or economic history, human rights, or sociology. It acknowledges Wood’s legacy of historical scholarship on political thought.
Charles Taylor Prize for Excellence In Policy Research: awarded annually to a researcher whose work has made an important contribution to policy debates relevant to building a more socially-just Canada.
