We've been in emergency mode for two years, facing overlapping crises with no sign that things will improve without a change in course. We need more than a rebuild, we need a transformation to get to the future we know is possible. But what is the path forward? How do we build a just economy? What are the priorities to make this change a reality? How do we re-energize our spirits and fuel our collective action to make life better?
We see what's wrong, and we know what can fix it. This year's Progress Summit is a chance to come together with other progressive leaders to start building a plan to do it. We will focus on solutions, on making connections, and on building the power to collectively make these solutions a reality.
We can create a new path. Let's make change, together.

Just Transition Program Focus
Join us as we work together to build relationships, map our collective efforts, and identify our common purpose. These dialogues are the first step in building a cross-sectoral campaign to bring a just transition from concept to reality and ensure that no one is left behind as we forge the path towards a climate-safe future. This stream of convening will include sessions intended to strengthen the zero-emission movement and create actionable outcomes towards this campaign goal. Each session within this stream will be clearly noted.
The Just Transition collaboration is led by Blue Green Canada, Climate Action Network Canada, Réseau action (CAN-Rac), and Environmental Defence Canada working to transition to a just economy that leaves no one behind. The partnership includes dozens of other allied organizations, unions, and associations coming together to seek decarbonized pathways to benefit workers and communities.
If you require childcare during the Summit, send us an email by March 10th and we will be in touch to help make arrangements.

What to expect at this year's Summit
Featuring compelling speakers and big ideas from cutting-edge movements from around the world, the Summit is a wonderful place to meet your favourite speaker and make lasting connections with other participants. Our team ensures our Summit programs and spaces are seeding grounds for stronger understanding and solidarity across the wide range of movements that show up.
Because of COVID-19, the Summit will be a smaller event this year. We are monitoring the COVID-19 situation in Ottawa and across the country and will share and and all updates that might affect this year's Progress Summit. We are taking a number of precautions to keep everyone safe during the event, including requiring all attendees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
