In advance of the 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Paris, the Mowat Centre and Broadbent Institute invite you to an evening with internationally acclaimed scientist and author Tim Flannery.

This free event coincides with the release of a new report from Mowat Centre and Broadbent Institute that outlines federal policy ideas for a low-carbon Canada.

Tim Flannery is a scientist, explorer, and conservationist. His latest book, Atmosphere of Hope: Searching for Solutions to the Climate Crisis, is timed for the lead-up to the Climate Change Conference in Paris. He has published more than 130 scientific papers and several books, including the international bestseller The Weather Makers. In 2007, he was named Australian of the Year, and from 2011 to 2013 was head of the Australian Climate Change Commission.

Join us for light refreshments and snacks after work as Tim discusses his new book, which will be available for purchase at the event.
